White Cliffs of Dover
The White Cliffs of Dover is one of the most famous landmarks representing the war time defence and a symbol of hope and freedom in 1941 for those come home from the World Wars, and was the driving force behind Vera Lynn’s iconic song ‘The White Cliffs of Dover’. Standing on the top of the cliffs you are able to see the French coastline on a clear day, as well as the intricate work that goes behind the smooth running of the Port of Dover and the small homes settled at the bottom of the cliffs.
The cliffs have an abundance of things to offer, with continuing perpetually changing views, serene walks, local wildlife, history and two wonderful tea rooms offering treats. Our tours offer to drive you to the National Trust entrance for the Cliffs, cover the costs of parking and show you around the best ways to access the best view points for your once in a life time photo opportunities. If you are looking for long stroll or just a fly by visit, we are happy to assist you or wait for you at your convenience.
We offer a walk around or drop off tour of the local area, with our driver having helpful tips and information that we will use to cater your tour around and advise you of time recommended to access the main attractions. We will liaise with you on how best to plan your time with us, utilise your day and where you want to be picked up from and dropped off to. This will all be done to fit your timeframe and cater to your needs throughout the day.
